Today is a Good Day!!!!

Well Everyone,
Today is the first day that I am "officially" back to work. As you know that is a huge deal given the predicament that many people find themselves in today, simply I am in the minority people who was able to obtain employment. Not only that but, I get to work for the OBAMA administration! Thank you to all of you for all of your prayers.

Random Thoughts about life......

I have been thinking about this for a long time. As I observe people (Friends, foes and those in between), I often wonder if people really know who they truly are and where they are going in life? Too often we go through life with no real idea destination in mind. To use a metaphor, we are driving on the highway with no real sense of where or when we are going to get off? I know that may sound like a crazy statement but consider the following 10 questions and you will see where I am coming from:
1.) Are you intrinsically happy right now with your life? Why or why not?
2) Are you doing what you have been called to do?
3) Do you have an endgame? Meaning do you have a concrete idea of where your life is headed?
4) What are the three most important things to you?
5) What three things do you want to offer to the world?
6) How much does it matter to you what other people think?
7) How many material things do you need to acquire before you are satisfied? (This one is especially for you "noveau money" Negros)
8) What are you doing to address your issues? (We all have them, but ignoring them WILL NOT make them go away)
9) How often do you engage in introspection?
10) Are you able to determine what you need rather than what you just want?

Try and answer these questions and I think you will be surprised with what you come up with. Pass this along to your friends who you think need a little help figuring this thing we call life.

Racism Still Rears Its Ugly Head

It has been said before, but I will say it again. The only way that discrimination and bigotry will end if is if we confront members of our own respective communities.

McCain is trying to pull the okey-doke!

My thoughts on John McCain's Vice-Presidential Choice!

Crabs......in a barrel! Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.

Three of my favorite crabs, were being mighty crabby last night after Obama's speech.
Cornell West, Julianne Malveaux and Tavis Smiley (not a real surprise).  We really need to be carful who we let on TV.  *Sigh*
